Travis Garriss is vice president and chief information and digital officer for Northrop Grumman, a technology company focused on global security and human discovery. In this role, he leads all aspects of the company’s information technology (IT), digital transformation, and data intelligence strategy.

Travis Garriss is vice president and chief information and digital officer for Northrop Grumman, a technology company focused on global security and human discovery. In this role, he leads all aspects of the company’s information technology (IT), digital transformation, and data intelligence strategy.
Before joining Northrop Grumman in 2025, Garriss served as vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for BAE Systems, Inc. There, he was responsible for implementing a comprehensive IT
vision and leveraging technology to drive value and achieve company strategy.
Previously, Garriss spent more than a decade with Honeywell, where he established global IT architecture, enforced compliance standards, and directed network and application operations for
multiple business segments. Most recently, he served as CIO and vice president of User and Functional Enablement, delivering modern infrastructure, software and services globally.
Prior to joining Honeywell in 2007, Garriss led the integration of hundreds of websites and applications at DHL into a universal security and application service delivery architecture to improve productivity, after running a consulting firm specializing in Internet services and network security for public service,
communications, and other clients.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Excelsior College.
